Project Overview
This was a student group project where we designed a website for a client in Salt Lake County who owns various birds for shows, weddings, commercials, and occasional TV and film work. The goal was to create a professional, visually appealing site that addressed the client’s business needs and highlighted his unique services.
Process
We began by meeting with the client to understand his main clients, business needs, and pain points. This also gave us the chance to see and handle some of his birds! (pictured below is myself holding a Eurasian Eagle Owl)
Next, we developed color palettes using earthy tones (browns, greens, blues) and sky-inspired colors (blue and yellow) to create a visually cohesive theme.We created low-fidelity wireframes and mockups in Figma to plan layouts and structure. Once designs were approved, we built the website in Wix, dividing responsibilities within the team.

Outcome
The project provided real-world client experience and allowed our group to combine UX/UI design skills with practical implementation in Wix. Long Wing Birds now has a functional and visually appealing website that highlights the business and its unique offerings.
